If you are driving from Petrosani to Targu Jiu and you feel like having a good meal, you can stop at the Defileul Restaurant, right before the entry in Bumbesti Jiu town.
The place is no fancy 5 star restaurant, but more of a truck drivers stop, which is bound to have fresh food every day. [...]
